National Honor Society!!

Three of the Dorm Brothers were inducted into the National Honor Society last night. This is considered a great honor as they base their selection on school involvement, character, and academics. Thanh, Costi, and Keita have excelled in all three categories and have represented their countries, dorm, and families with excellence. Way to go boys!!!

Meals

 Travis and I have chosen one International Student each week to 'Dine' with us in our apartment. This has been a wonderful chance for us to get to know the boys a little better. Sometimes I cook an ethnic meal for the boys and sometimes they help me cook their ethnic dish. Here Keita is helping me make Japanese Steak with rice. 

 Last week it was Fan, our Chinese student's turn to prepare the family meal!

Spring Break 2013!!

Many of our boys have been travelling this week with their host families!! Their destinations included:
Chicago, California, Florida, Alabama and some stayed in Kokomo, Indiana! 

Our family traveled to Ohio and took several day trips. We are refreshed and ready for our boys to return. Only 7 more weeks left of school!!! I can't believe it!!

For Keita's birthday, he wanted to go to a Chinese Buffet. Almost all of his brothers joined him! 

When asked what they love about Keita, many shared his sweet smile! His positive attitude and willingness to try new things!

Disney!!!

 Six of our students went to Florida to visit Disney a few weeks ago. They had a wonderful time site-seeing, catching up with other FLAG students, and relaxing!!
